Clinical Requirements:
Board certified OBGYN provider
BLS, ACLS and NRP

Obstetrics Required/Preferred Procedures:
Low Risk Pregnancy (required)
High Risk Pregnancy (required)
FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE (required)
OB Ultrasounds - performance of interpretation (preferred)
Level 1/screening - viability (preferred)

Labor & Delivery Required/Preferred Procedures:
Routine Delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision making for C-Section (required)
Complicated delivery - C-Section, breech, multiple births, abruptions etc. (required)
VBAC's (required)
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations (required)

Gynecology Required/Preferred Procedures:
Surgical GYN - laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chromal tubation, operative/major (includes diagnostic), ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's (required)

Site has 2 perm OBGYN's in their group

Nursery Services: Level 1 (well baby)

Additional Provider Requirements
Must be able to supply case logs. See privileging criteria below.
Locum will require hospital privileges which can take up to 90 days. Possible option for temp privileges if provider has a clean history etc.

Immunization Requirements See attached Contagious Disease – Workforce Immunity Requirement PDF - Provider will also need to complete an offsite drug screen in order to be cleared to start. Agency must schedule this no earlier than 14 days from the providers start date.
